CASE STUDY: INTERNAL AUDIT 1

PROBLEM STATEMENT:

This client had been receiving qualified audit reports from the Auditor General. We were engaged to assist with enhancing Human Capital Management processes to get the client ready for the Auditor General annual external audit.

HOW WE HELPED:

SkX assisted in enhancing leave liability, appointments, terminations, overtime, acting contracts and temporary employee contracts processes.  We ensured there were complete employee files for all employees and that supporting documents were in place. We also ensured that overtime approvals were in place with supporting documentation and that acting contracts were adhered to and properly authorised. We ensured that processes for temporary contracts and leave were properly accounted for and that abuse of leave was significantly reduced.
